Private family memorial services for the late John Kiyoshi Kawamoto, 103-year-old, San Francisco, Calif.-born, resident of Lake Balboa, who passed away on July 17, 2020 were held on Aug. 3 at Forest Lawn Memorial Park Hollywood Hills, with Rimban William Briones of Hompa Hongwanji Buddhist Temple officiating.
He is survived by her loving family: wife, Yukiye Margie Kawamoto; daughters, Sally Kawamoto and Ikuko (Victor) Iwamuro; grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother (last of 6 siblings), Hideo (Hiroko) Kawamoto of Japan; he is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
