Brian Takeo Mitsunaga

Brian Takeo Mitsunaga passed away peacefully at the Little Company of Mary Hospital on Sept. 11, 2020. He was born in 1943 in the Poston, Ariz. Relocation Center to Masaji and Kiyoko Mitsunaga. He is survived by his brother Victor, sister Sherry and nieces Tisha and Kyla. Growing up, Brian enjoyed life on a nursery in Hawthorne, Calif. with his brother Victor, sister Sherry and his three cousins Mas, Jerry, and Alan Miwa. He attended Leuzinger High School, El Camino Junior College and California State University at Long Beach. He worked for a number of years at McDonnell Douglas in personnel. He enjoyed traveling to a number of colleges and universities where he interviewed potential management engineering trainees. Brian retired at an early age and started purchasing and managing a small apartment. He taught himself to do much of the simple repairs and fixes.

Those who knew Brian know he didn’t like being fussed over and would rather give than receive. He enjoyed his life and his relationships with friends and family.
