Toshiko “Toshi” Komura, Nisei, passed away in Riverside, Calif. She was born in 1926. She was interned in Poston and graduated from Poston High School. She learned to crochet in camp, which led to her winning many awards for her work, including Best of Fair for a crocheted tablecloth.

She is predeceased by her husband, Kikuyoshi “Jack,” and her parents, Toshio and Shizuko Ishida. She is survived by daughters Shirley and Susan, sister-in-law Mariko Muramoto, brother-in-law Isao Hayashi, and many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Private services were held in Riverside.

Toshi will be greatly missed and fondly remembered.
