Hiromu Matsumoto, 87-year-old, Fresno, Calif.-born Nisei who was formerly from Silver Spring, Md., passed away on Nov. 25, 2020. A funeral service will be held on Friday, Dec. 18, 2020, with Rev. John Iwohara from Gardena Buddhist Church officiating.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Irene Matsumoto of Anaheim, Calif.; daughter, Amy (Gerald) Kato of Cypress, Calif.; grandsons, Brenden and Garrett Kato of Cypress, Calif.; sister, Sachiko (Jesse) Shimabukuro from Gaithersburg, Md.; also survived by other relatives.
