Misuko “Sue” Sugimura

Misuko “Sue” Sugimura peacefully passed away on Jan. 8, 2021 just days short of her 99th birthday. Misuko was born to Tokutaro and Hatsuno Mori in El Centro, Calif. After her family’s release from Poston Internment Camp she made her home in Los Angeles before marrying George and relocating to Monterey Park, Calif.

She was predeceased by her husband and sisters Misayo Kumakura, Yoshiko Hanaoka, and brothers, Sam, Sus and Bob Mori. Misuko is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Debra (David) Mills and sisters-in-law Michiko Mori and Kay Mori.
