Saburo “Sab” Horiba
March 25, 1929 – Jan. 5, 2021

Saburo, “Sab” Horiba, a long time resident of Anaheim, passed away on Jan. 5, 2021, at the Valley View Gardens Alzheimer’s Care facility in Garden Grove. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Clara Setsuko Horiba and daughter, Cathy Horiba, and many nieces and nephews.

He was born in Mesa, Arizona, the third son to Chuji and Toku Horiba on March 25, 1929. He attended grammar school and high school there. He served in the Army for four years and after his service, he attended Idaho State College, in Pocatello, Idaho. Graduated with a BS degree in Pharmacy. He worked as a pharmacist for over 48 years. Loved to travel, gardening, fishing and golf. He also volunteered at the Orange County Buddhist Church with the maintenance team. He was always willing to lend a hand to anyone who needed it. His smiling face and kind heart will be missed.

Due to the Covid-19 restrictions, a celebration of his life will be postponed until it is safe to gather.
