A private memorial service for Shingo Arase, 91-year-old, veteran of the Korean Conflict, Los Angeles, Calif.-born Kibei Nisei, who passed away on Dec. 25, 2020 in Monterey Park, was held on Thursday, Jan. 14, 2021 at Kubota Mortuary, with Pastor Ed Park from Mission Valley FMC officiating.
He is survived by his wife, Chieko Arase; also survived by many other relatives.
