Susumu Myose - Rafu Shimpo

Susumu Myose, 95-year-old resident of Diamond Bar, passed away peacefully at St. Jude’s Medical Center on Jan. 19, 2021. Born in El Centro, Calif., he was interned in Manzanar, completed business college in Des Moines, Iowa, entered Drake University and transferred to the University of Minnesota. He then served in the U.S. Army from 1946 to 1948 in Japan, where he met and married his wife, Tamaki. They returned to the United States in 1953 and settled in Los Angeles. He was an avid golfer throughout his life and is survived by his loving family: daughter, Jean (Glenn) Nakatani; son, Dennis Myose; grandchildren, Jamie Nakatani, Michael and Matthew Myose.
