Garrett Katsuyuki Nakamura

Garrett Katsuyuki Nakamura passed away peacefully in his sleep on March 20, 2021 at his residence in San Gabriel, Calif. He was born November 23, 1942 in Manzanar, Calif. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War, worked for the L.A. Times until his retirement in 2002. He is survived by his beloved wife, Cecilia; sons, Aaron (Leanora) Nakamura and Derek (Christine Brossin) Nakamura.

He is also survived by his brother Tom (Janet) Nakamura, and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. A service will be held at a later date.
