A public viewing for Akira Atobe, 75-year-old, Yamanashi-ken, Japan-born Issei will be held on Wednesday, July 6, 2022 from 4 p.m.-6 p.m. at Kubota Mortuary, 911 Venice Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90015. A graveside service will be held Thursday, July 7, 2022, at 10 a.m. at Rose Hills Memorial Park, 3888 Workman Mill Rd., Whittier, CA 90601.
He is survived by his daughter, Christine (Tora) Yamaguchi; stepdaughter, Loreen (Keith) Watanabe; stepson, Steve (Tae) Yasui; grandchildren, Ryan and Andrew Yamaguchi, Ashley and Emi Watanabe, and Justin, Dylan, and Sean Yasui; also survived by other relatives.
