The Little Tokyo Parkinson’s Support Group at Union Church of Los Angeles will hold their monthly meeting on Saturday, Oct. 28, from 10 a.m. to 12 noon.

Dr. Tyler Cheung

Guest speaker: Dr. Tyler Cheung, a board-certified neurologist with a focus on Parkinson’s disease and movement disorders. He completed his medical training at Yale University and Tufts University, and subsequently completed two fellowships in movement disorders and deep brain stimulation. He is affiliated with Huntington Memorial Hospital in Pasadena.

Cheung is dedicated to the accurate diagnosis and care of his neurological patients, ranging from early to advanced staged Parkinson’s disease and related disorders, tremor, dystonia, chorea, dyskinesia, and gait disorders. He is also experienced in general neurology, including headache, neuropathy, stroke, spasticity, epilepsy, and more. Procedures offered are deep brain stimulation, botulinum toxin injection for neurological problems, and maintenance of implanted intrathecal baclofen pumps. 

Members, family, and friends and any interested individuals are welcome. Union Church is located at 401 E. Third St. (at San Pedro Steet) in Little Tokyo.
