October 18, 1936 – January 16, 2024

Ronald Tsuruda, born on October 18, 1936, in San Jose, Calif., passed away peacefully on  January 16, 2024. 

He was interned during WWII with his family in Gila River, Arizona. After World War II, his family moved to Denver, Colorado, where he went to school at Colorado School of Mines and then graduated from Colorado University with an engineering degree. 

After graduation, he moved to Southern California with his wife, Aileen. He worked for McDonnell Douglas for 36 years. He retired from McDonnell Douglas/Boeing Company in 1998 and became an avid golfer, often playing with neighborhood friends and work colleagues.

He was married to his wife, Aileen, for 63 years and had two children, Ronald Jr. and Laurie Tsuruda. He is survived by his wife, Aileen; son, Ronald Jr.; five nieces and two nephews.
