Private funeral services for the late Satoshi Sam Hinatsu, 93-year-old, Oregon-born, resident of Los Angeles, who passed away peacefully on December 31, 2023, were held on January 26 at Green Hills Memorial Park, with Rev. Hibiki Murakami of Hompa Hongwanji Buddhist Temple officiating.
He is predeceased by his parents and six brothers.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Lorraine Hinatsu; son, Christopher Hinatsu; brother, Dan Hinatsu of Oregon; he is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
