
Cast and crew gathered at the The Academy Museum in Los Angeles on Tuesday night for a red carpet premiere of the new limited series adaptation of James Clavell’s 1975 novel “Shōgun.”
The best-seller, set in 17th-century Japan, was the basis of the groundbreaking television mini-series in 1980 that introduced Japanese culture and history to millions of Americans.
