A private funeral service for the late Ted Tatsuo Ando, a 94-year-old, Kagoshima, Japan-born, resident of Westminster, who peacefully passed away on January 5, 2024, was held on Saturday, February 17, at Orange County Buddhist Church in Anaheim.
Ted had a full life and loved his family, friends and business Ando Electric Motors Inc. in Long Beach for over 50 years.
Predeceased by his son, Mark Ando; and sister, Michiko (Shigeo) Kawasaki; he is survived by his wife, Tomiko Ito Ando; children, Hazel (Leroy) Ando-Heu, Diana (Russell) Ono, Linda Megumi Ando, and Walt (Sue) Ando; daughter-in-law, Dr. Linda Kouchi Ando; grandchildren, Tracie (Brian) Bacho, Megan Ono, Kyle, Dylan, Darren, and Sarah Ando; great-grandchildren, Keilani and Kaden Bacho; brother, Toshio (Naoko) Ando; sisters-in-law, Suzuka Ito and Tsuyako Ito; he is also survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives.
