Glen Fujimoto passed away on Saturday, March 23, 2024, in Whitter, Calif. He was 73 years old. He spent his last day surrounded by family. Glen was born in Los Angeles on March 2, 1951, the first born son of Kiyoshi and Tomiko Fujimoto’s four children.  

He was raised in Hacienda Heights and graduated from Los Altos High School. He went on to become a proud UCLA Bruin, graduating in 1974 with a B.A. in Psychology.  He spent much of his career as a health program coordinator working on L.A. County Immunization Projects, retiring in 2010.

Glen married his wife, Reiko in 1985 and they settled in Rowland Heights. They welcomed their son, Seiichiro Alan in 1988. Glen was a loyal husband and proud father.  Predeceased by his father, Kiyoshi; Glen is survived by his wife Reiko and son Seiichiro, his mother, Tomiko; his brothers, Gary (Karolyn) and Eugene (Maria); and his sister, Nancy (Bill); as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.   

Services celebrating Glen’s life will be held Sunday, April 14.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to East San Gabriel Valley Japanese Community Center.
