A private graveside funeral service for Carole Tomoye Hirata, 100-year-old, Elk Grove, Calif.-born Nisei, who passed away on April 4, 2024, in Gardena, was held on Monday, May 6, 2024, at Green Hills Memorial Park.
She is survived by her sons, Ken (Mira), Dennis (Linda), David (Anne), and Don (Nancy) Hirata; six grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Bernice and Yoko Hirata; also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
