PASADENA — Naomi Hirahara will join the Book Club of California to discuss “Terminal Island: Lost Communities on America’s Edge,” which she co-authored, on Wednesday, May 8, at The Blinn House, 160 N. Oakland Ave., Pasadena.

In addition to non-fiction books about Japanese American history, Hirahara is the award-winning author of several mystery novels, including “Clark and Division” and “Evergreen.”
