A private funeral service for Leah Kujubu Oye, 70-year-old, Los Angeles, Calif.-born Sansei, who passed away on March 9, 2024, in Los Angeles, was held on Saturday, May 18, 2024, at Venice Hongwanji Buddhist Temple.
She is survived by her husband, Dr. Robert Oye; sons, Andrew and Brian Oye; siblings, Dianne (Joe) Belli and Dr. Dean Kujubu; also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
