A funeral service for Masakazu Sameshima, 97-year-old, Kagoshima, Japan-born Issei who passed away on April 20, 2024, in Gardena, will be held on Friday, May 10, 2024, 10:30 a.m. at Higashi Honganji Buddhist Temple, 505 E. 3rd St., Los Angeles.
He is survived by his son, Michael (Pamela Lee) Sameshima; sisters, Kazuko Sameshima and Yoshiko (Toyomitsu) Yasuda, both of Japan; also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives in the U.S. and Japan.
