Namiye Okada, 101, longtime resident of Stanton, Calif., passed away peacefully on May 8, 2024. She was predeceased by her husband, Manabu, and is survived by her children, Kathy (late Jack) Nishimoto, Ted (Connie), Kenny (Lynn Gay), Joyce (Larry) Sakamoto and Tommy (Loreen); 10 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren.
Services will be held on Saturday, June 22, 2 p.m. at Orange County Buddhist Church, 909 S. Dale Ave. in Anaheim. In lieu of flowers and koden, the family kindly requests donations be made to Orange County Buddhist Church.
