Clara Tokiko Furukawa, Hawaii-born, 91-year-old resident of Monrovia, passed away peacefully at an assisted living facility on May 9, 2024. She is survived by her daughter, Arleen (Jim) Taniwaki of Denver; son, Derek Furukawa of Monrovia; and sister, Eiko Imaino of Hawaii. Also survived by many nieces and nephews and other relatives.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at the West Covina Christian Church on Saturday, August 10, 2024, 11 a.m. 1100 E. Cameron Ave., West Covina, CA 91790.
