Sue Miyashiro, 95, retired secretary of L.A. Unified School District, died peacefully at home on June 19, 2024. Originally from Hawaii, she moved to L.A. with her husband, Merv Miyashiro, in 1955.
She was a faithful Catholic and parishioner at St. Luke’s, Temple City.
She is survived by her son, Pete; daughters, Trina (Gilbert) Morrell, Julie (Tommy) Kochiyama, and Sheri (Joe) Palus; sister, Eunice Furomoto; 7 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
