A private funeral service for Susan Kay Fujimoto, 73-year-old, Grand Rapids, Mich.-born Sansei who passed away on July 1, 2024, in Hawthorne, Calif., was held on Wednesday, July 17, 2024, at Senshin Buddhist Temple.
She is predeceased by parents, Mitz and Marian Fujimoto; sister, Terrie Fujimoto; and survived by her son, Jack (Noemi) Maeshiro; granddaughter, Emiko Maeshiro; sister, Alyce (Craig) Saito; nephew and niece, Marcus (Kanako) and Lindsay (Mike Anderson) Saito; also survived by many other relatives.
