A private graveside service for the late Takenori Imagiire, 99 years old, born in Makurazaki Kagoshima, Japan, a long-time resident of West Los Angeles, who passed away on July 29, 2024, was held on Wednesday, August 7, at Inglewood Park Cemetery, officiated by Bishop Ito of Higashi Honganji Buddhist Temple.
He was predeceased by his wife, Sachiko Nitao Imagiire.
He is survived by his children, Takashi (Megumi) Imagiire, Satoru Imagiire and Keiko (Larry) Jacobson; grandchildren, Juna (Kensuke) Uchida, Rika Imagiire and Airi (Fumiyasu) Mizukami of Tokyo, Japan, Ryan (Reverie) Imagiire and Rachel Saya Jacobson of California; great-grandchild, Ryuta Imagiire of California.
