Private funeral services for the late Walter Seishi Ogata, 94-year-old, Honolulu, Hawaii-born, resident of Gardena, who passed away peacefully on July 10, 2024, were held on July 26 at Fukui Mortuary Chapel, with Rimban William Briones of Hompa Hongwanji Buddhist Temple officiating.
He is survived by his loving family: wife, Jean Ogata; son, Stanton (Paulina Kawasaki) Ogata; daughter, Kathleen Ogata; sister, Elsie Sakai of Hawaii; he is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other relatives here and in Hawaii.
