LONG BEACH — The Earl Burns Miller Japanese Garden at CSU Long Beach will present its Chrysanthemum Festival on Saturday, Nov. 2, from 1 to 3 p.m.

“While this festival is typically celebrated on the ninth day of the ninth month, we are thrilled to host it this month to reflect on the beauty of chrysanthemums and their symbolism of longevity and good fortune,” said a spokesperson for the garden. “Join us for an afternoon of community spirit and seasonal joy.”
Purchase a chrysanthemum to celebrate good fortune and longevity; enjoy performances from talented local artists; experience hands-on crafting for visitors of all ages.
Free parking available in Lot G4. $10 for general admission (covers groups of up to six people); $5 for garden members (also covers groups of up to six people). CSULB is located at 1250 Bellflower Blvd. For more information and reservations, call (562) 985-8420 or visit www.csulb.edu/earl-burns-miller-japanese-garden
