Funeral services for the late Dennis Okita, 86-year-old, Salem, Oregon-born, resident of Sherman Oaks who passed away on October 1, 2024, will be held on Saturday, October 26, 10:30 a.m. at San Fernando Valley Hongwanji Buddhist Temple, 9450 Remick Ave., Pacoima, CA 91331.
He was predeceased by his sister, Arlene Taketa of Washington.
Beloved husband of Barbara Okita; father of Kyle Okita of Texas; brother of Angela (Glenn) Nakashima of Oregon; also survived by many cousins, niece, nephews, and other relatives here, Texas, Oregon, and Washington.
