George K. IGI, age 83, passed away on August 5, 2024.
Beloved husband of Sharon Igi; father of Kelly (Stanford) Asato, Amanda Igi, and Melisa (Brent) Sloan; grandfather of Kalia (Jan) Burguillos, Melia Asato, Gwen and Grayson Sloan, Nico Foggetta, and William Biancamano; brother of Nancy (Richard) Obrero; owner of dog, Shodan Igi; also survived by many nieces, nephews, friends, and other relatives in California, Hawaii, and Japan.
Funeral service was held Friday, November 8, 11 a.m. at Ken Miller Recreation Center in Torrance, officiated by Rimban William Briones of Hompa Hongwanji Buddhist Temple.
