Funeral services for the late Mrs. Yoshie Rumi Takeda, 90-year-old, Nagasaki-Ken-born, resident of Gardena who passed away on November 13, 2024, at Little Company of Mary Hospital in Torrance.
Funeral service will be held on Sunday, December 8, 2 p.m. at Gardena Buddhist Church, 1517 W. 166th St., Gardena, California.
She is predeceased by her parents, Yoshikichi and Ume Shimoda; sons, Tony Yutani Takeda and Bobby Almeraz.
She is survived by her husband, Tom Kiyoshi Takeda; son, Philip Almeraz; sisters-in-law, Lorraine (Kazuo) Watanabe and Jinko Takeda; also many nieces, nephews, and other relatives here and in Japan.
