Japan House Los Angeles will present the world premiere screening of “Under Ninja,” the live-action adaptation of the popular manga by Kengo Hanazawa, followed by Q&A with the film’s lead actors, on Wednesday, Jan. 8, from 6 to 9 p.m. at TCL Chinese 6 Theatres, 6925 Hollywood Blvd. in Hollywood.

Kento Yamazaki is one of Japan’s most influential actors, starring in films such as “Alice in Borderland,” “Golden Kamuy,” “Kingdom” and more. Minami Hamabe is a highly accomplished actress recognized globally, most recently in “Godzilla Minus One” but also in other films such as “Silent Love,” “Shin Kamen Rider,” and “Kakegurui 2: Ultimate Russian Roulette.”

“Under Ninja” is set in the modern world, where ninjas exist in secret, lurking in everyday life and operating in the dark globally. Kuro Kumogakure (Yamazaki) is a modern-day ninja entrusted with an important task. Caught up in this battle between ninjas is a high school girl, Ayaka Noguchi (Hamabe).
