Tomiye Noda, 99, born in Pomona, Calif. and a longtime resident of Gardena, passed away peacefully on Nov. 1, 2024. Predeceased by her husband, Sadao George Noda, she is survived by her son, Dennis (Toni) Noda, and daughter, Pauline Takahashi; grandchildren, Darin (Noriko) Noda, Ashleigh (Arnold) Van Dyk, Randall (Linda) Takahashi, and Brenton (Joanne) Takahashi; and four great-grandchildren. Also survived by nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Private funeral services were held.
