
The Criminal Courts Bar Association, Japanese American Bar Association, and Asian Pacific American Bar Association will present a screening of “One Fighting Irishman” on Tuesday, Feb. 4, at Omni Los Angeles Hotel California Plaza, 251 S. Olive St., Los Angeles.

This short film, narrated by actor and activist George Takei, tells the story of Wayne M. Collins (1899-1974), one of few attorneys to defend Japanese Americans during World War II, who fought for 23 years to help restore U.S. citizenship for more than 5,500 people who renounced under governmental duress at the Tule Lake Segregation Center.
