
Step into a world of calm on Saturday, May 17, as South Coast Botanic Garden hosts a traditional Japanese tea ceremony beneath the blooms of the Dorothy and John Bohannon Rose Garden.
Presented by Urasenke L.A., this rare cultural experience allows guests to observe a narrated ceremony, then enjoy a modified version with matcha and Japanese sweets—all centered on the timeless principles of harmony, respect, purity and tranquility.
Two sessions: 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. or 1 to 2:30 p.m. $45 for members, $50 for non-members.
