Koichi Ono, 93, a Hawaii-born resident of Monterey Park, passed away on April 27, 2025, after battling cancer. He is survived by son, Daryl Ono; daughter, Cathie (Gary) Tani; grandson, Andrew Tani; and many nieces and nephews in California and Hawaii. He is predeceased by his wife, Hisako Ono; grandchildren, Christopher and Kelli Tani; his parents and all his siblings, and many friends and relatives.
A private family burial service will be held at Green Hills on June 27, 2025.
