Tom Teranishi, 91 years old, born in San Francisco, California, a longtime resident of Los Angeles, passed away on April 22, at California Mission Inn, Massie Hall in Rosemead.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Carole, and 4 children, Paul (Nancy) Teranishi and their daughters, Loryn and Kari; Joni (Mark) Nagata and their children, Marisa, Matthew, Trina, Kimie, and Luke; Ann (Keith) Harrison and their daughter, Kylie; and Vicki Kaiser (Mark) and her son, Dylan. He also leaves behind his sister, Alice Matsushima; and is predeceased by his brother, John; and sister, Helen Takahashi.
A funeral Mass was held on May 10, 2025 at St. Francis Xavier Church Japanese Catholic Chapel in Los Angeles, officiated by Father Doan Hoang, S.J.
