Bob Iwao Sugasawara, age 103, passed away on May 21, 2025.
Beloved father of Roy Isao (Alison Michie) Sugasawara; grandfather of Ryan Hideo Sugasawara; father-in-law of Wayne Hisao Nakano, grandfather of Erin Midori Nakano (Louis Andrew) Israel; great-grandfather of Benjamin David and Max Aaron Israel; also survived by other relatives.
He is predeceased by his wife, Kazuko Sugasawara; his daughter, Jean Kaoru Sugasawara (Nakano); his mother, father, and siblings. Funeral services were held on Wednesday, June 11, at Rose Hills, officiated by Rev. Hibiki Murakami and facilitated by Fukui Mortuary.
