Shoji Nakamura 97 years old, a longtime resident of Gardena and the last six years in Orange County, passed away on January 3, 2025. He is survived by his sons, Kenneth and James Nakamura; daughter-in-law, Carlynn; grandson, Austin; and relatives in Utah and Japan.
He is greatly loved and was a kind man with a generous heart and a good sense of humor. His love was baseball and watching Hideo “The Tornado” Nomo pitch.
