Yoshiko “Yoshi” Yamasaki, a 91-year-old, Hawaii-born resident of Gardena, passed away on April 24, 2025. Predeceased by her beloved husband, Yukio “Yuki” Yamasaki; She is survived by her son, Brian Yukio (Jennifer Schutzman) Yamasaki; grandchildren, Alec and Natalie Yamasaki; she is also survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives here and in Hawaii.
A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, August 2, 12 p.m. at Faith United Methodist Church 2115 W. 182nd St. in Torrance. The family kindly requests no flowers. An RSVP of your attendance is appreciated, please call the church office at 310-217-7000.
