Eiko Amy Okamura, a Los Angeles-born resident of Culver City, Calif., passed away on June 24, 2025, at UCLA Santa Monica Medical Center. She had a passion for helping others, and worked at the West Hollywood Community Housing Corporation, a non-profit organization that offers housing and social services to low-income families.
Eiko was preceded in death by her loving parents, Tsuneo and Hideko Okamura. She is survived by her sister, Hitomi Heidi Okamura; brother-in-law, Kevin Fitzgerald; and nephew, Connor Kai Fitzgerald of Brookline, Mass.; as well as many other relatives and friends.
A private family burial was held at Evergreen Cemetery.
