Sumiko Ishino passed away peacefully at home on June 23, 2025, at the age of 101.
Born in Gardena and a resident of Gardena, she was predeceased by her loving husband Kanemasa Ishino. She is survived by her loving family: Daughters, Yuriko (Ronald) Katow, Amy (Kaz) Hosozawa; granddaughters, Monica (Kevin) Nishimine, Robyn (Rich) Otty, Kerry (Sutai) Wu, Nikki (Del) Davis; grandchildren, Jessica Otty, Kyle and Keith Wu.
A small funeral service was held at Green Hills Mortuary on July 25, 2025.
