A private funeral service for Hiroaki Tom Uyeda, 88-year-old, Los Angeles, Calif.-born Sansei who passed away peacefully on August 12, 2025 in Mission Hills, Calif., was held on Saturday, September 13, 2025, at San Fernando Valley Hongwanji Buddhist Temple.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Keiko Uyeda; children, Deron (Jina) Uyeda and Tiffany (Duane) Fornof; granddaughters, Alyssa and Madison Uyeda; also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
