Historic Wintersburg is the site of one of the first Japanese American churches in Orange County and remains one of the last standing. The property once included a goldfish farm, which, after years of neglect during World War II, was converted by the Furuta family to a water lily farm.
This remarkable site, now over 100 years old, represents an irreplaceable part of Japanese American history. The conservancy is making substantial progress toward acquiring and restoring this site, and your support will help ensure its preservation for generations to come.
