A private funeral for Yukiko Hirata, who passed away at 97, on June 27, 2025, was held September 6, at Orange County Buddhist Church, with burial at Westminster Memorial Park. Born in San Francisco, raised in Japan, and a longtime Anaheim resident, Yukiko is survived by her sons, Ken (Lorene) and Don (Karen); and grandchildren, Kurt, Christine, Sarah, and Elle.
She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
