Fudge Fujioka passed away peacefully on August 13, 2025, at the age of 100. Predeceased by her husband, Dick; Fudge is survived by her son, David; daughter, Mary Ellen (Henry Wong); and youngest son, Randy (Holly). She also leaves behind four grandkids, Erika, Garrett, Abby and James; five great-grandkids, Logan, Gavin, Ella, Cora and Emmy; and too many nieces and nephews to mention.
Fudge will be remembered for her love of watching sports, including Dodger baseball, tennis, golf and of course, swimming. She was an excellent cook and baker. She was the last surviving Nisei in the Narahara and Fujioka families.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on October 25, 2025, 11 a.m. at Centenary United Methodist Church, 300 S. Central Ave., Los Angeles, Calif. The family requests “casual attire”. Any “koden” received will be donated to a charity in Fudge’s name.
