Game 1 of 3 at Seattle Mariners

The Dodgers kept it rolling against the red-hot Mariners, getting a close-ly contested 3-2 victory against the AL West champs. Seattle had won seven straight coming into the game. Ohtani had a quiet night, going 0 for 3 with a walk and a strikeout.

SATURDAY, SEPT. 27

Game 2 of 3 at Mariners

Kiké Hernandez and Dalton Rushing provided the spark that Los Angeles needed to get the win over the Mariners, 5-3. Ohtani had the night off.

SUNDAY, SEPT. 28

Game 3 of 3 at Mariners

Clayton Kershaw was masterful in the Dodgers’ regular-season finale, pitching 5-1/3 scoreless innings on the way to a 6-1 victory and sweep of the series. It was Kershaw’s final regular-season start of his storied career. The Dodgers jumped ahead in the second inning when Hyesong Kim hit a two-run homer. Ohtani went deep in the seventh for his 55th of the season to give the Dodgers a 5-0 lead. The Dodgers added a final run in the eighth. –Miles Anderson
