Nancy Grace Hayami Arbogast, a La Verne resident, passed away on September 5, 2025, at the age of 59.
She was the youngest daughter of Walter and Miko Hayami.
Nancy graduated from San Gabriel High School and pursued a career as a court reporter. She later returned to school to change professions and became a licensed massage therapist.
Nancy is survived by her two loving children, Eden Rain (Nick) Meyers and Owen Reed Arbogast; her mother, Miko Karatsu Hayami; siblings, Scott (Susan) Hayami, Judy (John Kennedy-deceased) Hayami, Dave (Rena) Hayami, Danny Hayami and Andy Hayami.
From early childhood on, Nancy loved family trips to the beach, fishing off the Huntington Beach pier and being out on a boat in the fresh ocean breeze.
Following her wishes, there will be a private burial at sea.
