Irene Yonemura was born on July 8, 1937 in Honolulu, Hawaii. She went home to be with the Lord on December 15, 2025.
Irene is survived by stepsons, Vernon (Kathie), Steven, and Glenn (Joyce) Yonemura; and granddaughters, Kayla, Elizabeth, and Rebecca. She also leaves behind treasured memories with numerous friends in California and Hawaii.
Despite facing numerous tragedies in her life, Irene was always known for the kind and loving warmth she showed to everyone she met. She was also an extremely talented artist and writer. But most of all, she was known for her steadfast and unshakeable faith in the Lord.
A memorial service will be held at Evergreen Baptist Church of Los Angeles, on Saturday, January 31, 2026 at 11:00.
