Kay Yemiko Kamei, age 97, Los Angeles-born resident of Pasadena, peacefully passed away on December 23, 2025.
Predeceased by her husband, Tom Kamei; she is survived by her sons, Jerry (Jill) and Duane (Gayle); grandchildren, Nicolas, Natalie (Ryan), Evan, Jeffrey (Nancy), and Philip; four great-grandchildren, sister, Flora Shinoda; two nieces and one nephew.
A private, family-centered funeral service followed by interment will be held. The family is grateful for the kindness, thoughts, and prayers received during this time.
