A private graveside funeral service for Glenn Yoshiro Bungo, 91-year-old, Kingsburg, Calif.-born Nisei who passed away peacefully on January 7, 2026 was held on Saturday, February 28, 2026, at Green Hills Memorial Park, with Rev. Koho Takata from West L.A. Buddhist Temple officiating.
He is survived by his beloved sons, Keith (Elaine) and Jerry (Linda Mueller) Bungo; daughters, Carole (Victor) Yokoi and Sharlene (Mark) Shinmoto; grandchildren, Justin and Alyssa Yokoi, Samantha (Craig Jones) Shinmoto-Jones, Brittany and Danielle Shinmoto; and also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
